Earl of Loudoun's Regiment of Foote
Loudoun's Today

Loudoun's and friendsThe present day regiment is commanded by a senior officer who has the rank of Major. It is then divided into companies of pike and musket, each of which is under the discipline of a captain. Sergeants may be appointed from time to time and soldiers are expected to follow the orders of their officers when on the field or when participating in other ECWS events.

Loudoun's Family PortraitThe regiment is also run on a committee basis with members elected by their fellows. The regimental committee organises such things as the purchase of equipment and social events like the annual banquet. Loudoun’s also has its own regimental newsletter, 'The Clarion', to which anyone may contribute. (Please do - new articles are always required.)
